Apal Cider

Apal Sideri is more than just a producer of award-winning sides; it is a city where tradition and innovation meet in scenic surroundings. With our location in beautiful Hjelmeland, we offer our guests an authentic experience that combines locally produced ingredients, artisanal products and genuine Norwegian hospitality. Our events, whether it is a side tasting, a picnic in the apple garden or a larger party, give a sense of belonging and experiences that you take with you.

Fjordsider

At the Skogheim farm in Aure, fruit trees have been planted since the 1940s. When Bjørn Torsetnes inherited the farm, he and business partner June Vestavik saw the opportunity to develop a unique product based on the old traditions of the farm. It was a short time from the first tree being planted until “Fjordsider” was created. The two have now planted 9,000 apple trees which provide good, local produce for our pages.

Odelsgut

At Odelsgut, 21 km outside Sogndal, we invite you into a world of authentic flavours, extraordinary nature and real experiences. On our farm in beautiful Fimreite, history, craftsmanship and passion merge into something completely unique.

OmCider

OmCider has won a total of 8 prizes for its products in international side awards. Among other things, Valagubben won gold at Ciderworld Frankfurt in 2022 and at the sider WC in Bergen in 2022. Gold in Norway’s Beste 2024 to Odel and Valagubben. Gold in the International Brewing and Cider Awards 2024 for Odel

Himkok

HIMKOK Distillery is more than just a place where spirits are made; it is a living embodiment of Norwegian craftsmanship, innovation, and pride.By staying true to its roots and embracing modernity, Himkok has managed to carve a niche for itself in the international spirits industry, becoming a must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic taste of Norway.

Egge Gård

Egge Gård has 20,000 apple trees which normally produce 100 tonnes of apples each autumn. Egge Gård are passionate about both food and drink, and early on saw great potential in the beautiful, sour Norwegian fruit.

Snertingdal Ysteri

Snertingdal Ysteri wants to return the cheeses that were previously produced at this more than 100-year-old dairy. We are working on a deepening, especially on the blue mold cheese Snertingdal Blå Viking, which this cheese factory made and exported abroad.

Ostegården

Ostegården produces more than 15 tonnes of cheese every year, and have even won the title of world’s best cheese for our Fanaosten in 2018. Ostegårdens cheeses are mainly sold to restaurants but can also be bought from several of the large grocery chains.

Aldesider

Alde is an old name for apple in Hardanger and here on the farm apples have been grown since the fruit came to the fjord. Pressing to produce applesauce has a long history. But the must was then a fresh product that only the farm people were allowed to drink for a few days, before it went to the sides.
